How It Works
Our process is designed to be efficient, ensuring that every minute of the five-hour engagement is focused on delivering high-value intelligence.
1. Submit Your Enquiry
Send us your specific question, idea, or problem. We review your proposal to ensure it aligns with our mission and expertise. If accepted, we will send you a payment link to begin the engagement.
2. Initial Review & Clarification
Once payment is received, we provide initial general answers and a set of clarifying questions. This step ensures we fully understand your goals, constraints, and threat model before we dive into the deep research.
3. Preliminary Report & Interactive Call
We prepare a preliminary report based on our research and present it during a one-hour Interactive Consulting Call. Using your preferred privacy-focused medium (encrypted IM, voice, or video), we walk through options, trade-offs, and next steps, capturing your feedback in real-time.
4. Final Report
Based on the interactive session, we finalize your report. We don’t just provide dry documents; your final report can include a mix of formats—text, audio, visual diagrams, or screen recordings—to ensure the information is practical and easy for you to implement.
Optional: VAPA Virtual Assistant Add-On
Price: $500
For complex problems that require ongoing reference or implementation support, you can add a customized VAPA Virtual Assistant. We will train this downloadable AI assistant on the specific findings and recommendations of your Final Report. This allows you to continue exploring the solutions we provided, ask follow-up questions, and receive guidance on implementation—all while keeping your data local and outside the surveillance umbrella.
SLA / Timelines
We respect your time and maintain a strict schedule for all consulting engagements:
- Initial Review: Up to 7 days to evaluate and respond to your initial enquiry.
- Preliminary Delivery: If accepted, we deliver the preliminary report within 7 days of receiving your responses to our clarifying questions.
- Interactive Session: Scheduled immediately following the delivery of the preliminary report.
- Final Delivery: The Final Report is delivered within 7 days of our interactive call.

To ensure seamless delivery, DFA sources the necessary technical resources from within our members and appoints a dedicated project manager. This DFA Representative serves as your primary point of contact, coordinating all resources and overseeing the project from start to finish.
